Friend Radar Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes the information about you and/or your devices that is collected, stored, and shared as you use the Friend Radar app and service.
Information we collect
We collect information provided by you and your device (e.g. iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad) in order to provide the Friend Radar service to you. The information we collect includes:
- Location Information The location of your device (and, therefore, you) as reported by your device's available GPS and location hardware. This may also include things like the direction you are heading and the speed you are traveling.
- User profile and settings The information you provide on the Join screen, such as your name, group name/password, icon, update settings, and speed sharing settings.
- Friend Radar version and purchase information The version of Friend Radar you are using, and the electronic purchase receipt if you have upgraded to the full version.
- Log information As you use the Friend Radar service, we may automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This may include information like the date and time of your updates and your Internet Protocol (IP) address.
- Crash information If you agreed to the prompt when you first set up your device or when you were prompted in iTunes, diagnostic information may be provided to us if Friend Radar crashes to help us troubleshoot the issue and improve the app.
How we use information we collect
We use the information we collect to provide the Friend Radar service to you. We also use this information to protect the service from unauthorized users, and to validate the purchase of upgrades you may have purchased through in-app purchase.
Information we share
- We do not share the above information with other companies.
- We do share the Device, Location, and User Profile information you provide to the other users in your Friend Group(s) as an essential function of the service.
- We may share any of the above information with law enforcement agencies as required by law.
