What do I get by upgrading to the full version?
The free version of Friend Radar provides the Radar and Arrow views, the ability to join and create groups, and limited group updates (about once every two minutes). Upgrading to the full version adds the worldwide Map view, much more frequent group updates (about once every five seconds when the app is active), and new background update and power saving options.
